The Heaton Mersey Collective supported two events that took place on 5 October in Heaton Mersey. (No photos – if you have any of these events we would be grateful to receive them!)

World Card Making Day Heart of the Heatons style!
Join us in your local Heaton to make a card on World Card Making Day that has a special message in about what you love about the Heatons. We will help you send your creation to a random address of someone in SK4 that you don’t know, spreading kindness and goodwill across the four Heatons!
14:00 – 16:00 family / adult / art / wellbeing
Walk, Ride, Decorate The Heatons
This novel event, organised by Sustainable Living in the Heatons, The Good Life, and Walk Ride Heatons, offers activities to suit everyone!

Walkers: Come to The Good Life at 2pm, where you can make plant pots and mobiles from used cans, led by an experienced community artist, and follow this with a 60 minute walk along the River Mersey and the Heatons Link. Walk starts at 3pm for 1 hour.

Riders: To cycle the route of the Heatons Link, meet at The Good Life at 2pm, for a 5 mile ride that should take us about one hour. Afterwards join in the art workshop to make plant pots and mobiles.
